BIG WIPES™ out-perform other products in cleaning power, convenience and most importantly, compliance and health & safety.
Sadly there are wet wipes on the market that describe themselves as hand wipes, yet do not comply with the latest amendments of the relevant standards. This lack of compliance can therefore put you and your staff at potential risk. Big Wipes, on the other hand, does things differently. We invest in continual advice, review and verification from professional bodies. Consequently, our Big Wipes products remain both legal and safe as the regulations evolve.
We insist on the following tests to be undergone on all our wipes:
BIG WIPES COMPLIANCE WITH DERMATOLOGICAL TESTING
We regularly and rigorously test our products on volunteers. Independent professional dermatologists carry out these dermatology tests on a cross-section of people. After 48 hours of a single exposure to Big Wipes, zero levels of reaction or irritation were experienced across the entire volunteer group. In addition, we are proud to say that Big Wipes does not test on animals.
In stark contrast, some competitors who make dermatology claims, often attempt to rely on inadequate replica tests on animals. Similarly, they claim unsubstantiated comparative testing against competitors’ products that only demonstrates that their products are “less irritating” than others.
SAFETY ASSESSMENT – COMPLIANCE WITH EU REGULATION (EC) NO 1223/2009 – COSMETIC PRODUCTS
Replacing the 1976 EU Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC) in July 2013, this regulation protects consumers and makes sure that all cosmetic products on the European market are safe. It requires cosmetics to cause no damage to human health when applied under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
‘Based on preliminary evaluation the product Big Wipes SYC MP 4-002 is safe for human health when used under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use in accordance to the Regulation EC No. 1223/2009.’

LEPTOSPIRA TESTING
(WEIL'S DISEASE)
Furthermore, Big Wipes effectively prevents the incubation of Leptospira (Weils) interrogans strain RGA.
The OIE Leptospiros Reference Laboratory states the following: “no ‘Leptospira interrogans serovar icterhohaemorrhagiae’ strain was detected in the media which was inoculated with the Big Wipes sections which were exposed to leptospires.” Read more about Weil’s disease here.
